FIRST, OUR VIEWS:

DON'T THROW OUT THE BABY WITH THE BATHWATER!

"You can do something. You can't do everything, but that's not an excuse to do nothing!" We see so many pleas in the media to support this or that cause and often our eyes glaze over, or we receive so many pieces of junk mail asking for donations, etc., that often we just throw them in the wastebasket... especially during election season: it's too much for us to handle! But here's a really worthy cause that deserves your full attention and response:

bricks for the ARC The volunteers at Vision Complex Orphanage and School in Tanzania have made this huge pile of bricks to build the ARC. They have plenty of good clay soil to mix with water, place in forms, and bake them into bricks.

cement, rods, and beams Here's some of the cement, reinforcing rods, and boards we've provided to use for the foundation. They will need more, but these are a start so you can see that they're pushing ahead with this project.

huge rocks too big to break up After starting to clear the land for the foundation, they realized that this pile of huge rocks was too big to break up by hand, so they moved the staked-out ground and cleared some more land.

(video:) clearing and measuring the site Here they are, after clearing more land and marking where the foundation will be laid.

(video:) digging the foundation The volunteers are working for free: after all, it's the children of this town, Bunda, who are going to school and being cared for at Vision Complex. But digging, carrying rocks, gravel, sand, cement, and water is hard work, so the men have to be fed!

(video:) putting rocks in the trenches It's painful for me to imagine carrying such huge rocks, because I injured my back 46 years ago doing the same thing while building a retaining wall for our garden. So pray for the safety of these volunteers!

(video:) filling in the spaces with cement They're filling in the forms with cement to hold the rocks, gravel, and sand together. They have enough of these materials to build a part of the foundation to show you that this is the real deal, not a just pipe dream or a scam.

The 23rd chapter of Jeremiah is full of warnings to and judgement of false shepherds and false prophets. Frequently I come across such self-appointed "prophets" - people on the Internet who "command and declare" this or that as the word of the Lord. Here's what the real Prophet Jeremiah wrote about this:

"I haven't sent these prophets, yet they ran: I didn't speak to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood in my council, then they would have caused my people to hear my words, and would have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings. Am I a God at hand, says the Lord, and not a God afar off? Can any hide himself in secret places so that I shall not see him? says the Lord. Don't I fill heaven and earth? says the Lord. I have heard what the prophets have said, who prophesy lies in my name, saying, 'I have dreamed, I have dreamed.' How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies, even the prophets of the deceit of their own heart" (Jer. 23:22-26).

The problem today, however, is there are so many of these false pastors and false bishops that we tend to generalize that they're all rotten apples, and thus discredit the good and genuine bishops, priests, pastors, and helpers. I have examined closely and tested Simon John's work at Vision Complex: as you see here, he's the real deal!

Simon and his volunteer workers have been working hard during the last few weeks, but now they're out of rocks... and funds. They have the cement, sand, gravel, and reinforcing rods, but need more rocks, and 20-liter and 80-liter water containers to carry water from the 1,000-liter tanks that we already provided to the construction site. Right now they need $5,000 to finish the foundation. Then they can use the bricks to start building the walls. Our small non-profit organization has provided much more than that, but now we don't have even that much in our account. So...

"You can do something. You can't do everything, but that's not an excuse to do nothing!" Now is the time to DO SOMETHING! Go to our →Vision Complex← page and donate what you can: whether it's $5 or $50 or $500: every buck and brick helps Build the ARC!

A Personal Note: As you probably know, my wife and I have spent 40+ years involved in missionary outreach to the USSR and its former sattelite countries. It breaks our hearts to see on TV and read about the horrors of the war in Ukraine as it struggles to be free from Russian domination. Mercator's recent article THE PLAGUES OF UKRAINE: WAR AND DEMOGRAPHIC COLLAPSE paints a gruesome picture of the death and destruction taking place on both sides. Over a million people have fled the country, about 100,000 more are fleeing every month, not counting the civilian deaths and casualties, there are from 400,000 to 600,000 Ukrainian military deaths and twice as many wounded. Russia has had about double those numbers of military deaths and casualties because of their senseless "human waves" strategy of throwing nearly-untrained men into battle. This demonic death and destruction plus already too low birth rate threaten an economic and demographic collapse of both countries. Pray for an end to this senseless war!

NEXT, THE NEWS:

2. WOMEN’S RESEARCH GROUP LIE: IF MOMS CAN'T KILL PREBORN CHILDREN, THE ECONOMY WILL BE KILLED
from:
LiveAction

SYNOPSIS: The pro-abortion Institute for Women’s Policy Research (IWPR) argues that states with laws protecting preborn children from abortion are costing the nation $68 billion a year. Claiming women will be poor if they don’t kill their children is fear-mongering – and effective. Forty-five percent were on public assistance before the abortion, 44% after. Motherhood and professional success are not mutually exclusive.

It continued, “For businesses, restrictions on access to reproductive health care affect their ability to build a strong workforce and make their bottom line, which also impacts state economies.” Moreover, as previously explained by Live Action News' Cassy Fiano-Chesser, “[T]he economic argument is an [un]ethical falsehood."
Pray against these unethical lies that the Satanic pro-death lobby uses to deceive gullible voters. Satan's aim is to steal, kill and destroy: Christ's aim is for us to have abundant life!

3. TIME FOR A PARADIGM SHIFT ON PARENTAL LEAVE
from:
Mercator

SYNOPSIS: This article discusses the low fertility rate and the impact it has on the population. The government is struggling to reverse this trend, exploring possible solutions, such as changes to parental leave policies. Many countries are facing a demographic collapse. There are many reasons for this, including globalist economic policies that treat people merely as units of production, the desire to have more material things rather than raising a family, childcare costs, and a lack of work-life balance for parents.

Extending parental leave and making it mandatory for both mothers and fathers as a public service to fulfill will preserve two-parent families, raise the birth rate, reduce childcare costs, and allow parents to bond with their children. There should be no career impact when parents take parental leave. By making it easier for parents to have and raise children, we can help to ensure the future of our society.
Ask God to make people, especially Christians, aware of the insane practices of choosing to abort or not have children, that we all will understand the need for raising the birth rate so that society will continue to exist and function.

4. SATANISTS PERFORMING RITUALISTIC ABORTIONS
from:
Susan B. Anthony PRO-LIFE America

SYNOPSIS: The Satanic Temple (TST) is opening a NEW “religious” abortion clinic. It will be the second of its kind and a place where “ritualistic abortions” are performed as part of their religious practices. Its name: "The Samuel Alito’s Mom’s Satanic Abortion Clinic" – a cruel joke in reference to Justice Samuel Alito being the U.S. Supreme Court Justice who authored the majority decision in Dobbs v. Jackson – the case that overturned Roe.

As sickening is at can be sometimes, we can’t look away. We must see this evil for what it is, fight it, and WIN in defense of precious babies. The good news is that our movement has millions of God-fearing Americans who refuse to be dragged to this dark future. But Planned Parenthood PAC, the media, Hollywood and the rest of the pro-abortion cause have tremendous power and money.
Intercede to God for an end to this Satanic death cult and its ritualistic abortions. Pray that Christians will get out and vote against such vile practices.

5. ATLANTA BRAVES GREETER'S ASPIRATIONS KNOW NO BOUNDS
from:
Disability Scoop

SYNOPSIS: Don’t underestimate Wilson Barron – the Atlanta Braves certainly don’t. When he born, he was transferred from Northside Hospital to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite, where a geneticist performed a spinal tap and declared he would not live beyond age 4. That was 26 years ago, "Perhaps I am just obstinate, but when people say someone can't, I want to find a way that they can," said his mother, Rachael Barron.

His father Wyatt once took Wilson deer hunting: he pulled Wilson up into the blind, reminded him not to make any noise and helped him shoot his first deer. Wilson's helper Meaghan Timko, along with a resource called Together We Care, helped the Barrons put together their first team of caregivers and facilitators to provide respite care and to take Wilson on outings throughout the week, enabling him to fill his days with activities and purpose. "We wanted to help him find not just any job, but a job he really wants," they said, and introduced him to the Antlanta Braves, who hired him.
Praise the Lord for the tenacity of Wilson and his parents, and for the Atlanta Braves giving him a spot on their team. Pray that these examples will challenge the unconsious "cognitive bias" that most people have toward disabilities.

6. ENDING AGEISM, OR HOW NOT TO SHOOT OLD PEOPLE
from:
Agape-Biblia Literatura

SYNOPSIS: When the term “ageism” was coined in 1969, many problems of exclusion seemed resolved by government programs like Social Security and Medicare. But as people are now living longer, today's great demotions of older people cut deeper into their self-worth and human relations, beyond the reach of law or public policy.

In Ending Ageism, or How Not to Shoot Old People, award-winning writer and cultural critic Margaret Gullette confronts the offenders: the ways people aging past midlife are portrayed in the media or by adult offspring; the esthetics and politics of representation in photography, film, and theater; and the incitement to commit suicide for those with early signs of "dementia."
Pray that people will become mindful of ageism – the unconscious "cognitive bias" most of us have toward the elderly and our own growing older, and that the elderly will break free from the restrictions that others unconsciously project on them.

7. U.S. DOT SETS INTO MOTION PLAN FOR ALLOWING WHEELCHAIR SPOT ON COMMERCIAL AIRCRAFT
from:
Disabled World

SYNOPSIS: This article highlights significant progress toward enabling wheelchair users to fly while seated in their wheelchairs on commercial aircraft, a mission championed by All Wheels Up (AWU) for 15 years. With backing from the FAA, the Department of Transportation, and key partners like Paralyzed Veterans of America, parameters for testing and certification are set to begin in 2025. The development aligns with new accessibility measures in the 2024 FAA Reauthorization Act, signaling meaningful advancements in inclusive air travel.

"Progress like this does not come easy or quickly. There are many moving pieces," said Heather Ansley, Chief Policy Officer for PVA. "Working with All Wheels Up and other key stakeholders we are very hopeful that all of this positive news will eventually lead to safe and dignified access for wheelchair users in air travel and emerging modes of transportation." While progress is happening and can be celebrated in the short-term, the end goal of a wheelchair spot on a commercial aircraft will require further research and advocacy.
Thank the Lord for advocacy groups making the public and government aware that people with mobility issues also might like to travel for pleasure or need to for business. These people should be treated fairly, just like other people.

Here's How to Reach the World

Grace definedAt age 15 in 1958, while taking care of lawns at an apartment complex, the Lord gave me a vision: I saw a map of the Soviet Union in the sky and a voice said: "Remember this apartment complex plan - you'll build it when you're an old man." After serving 40 years in mission work that included 17 years in the USSR and Russia, I'm now in my 80s, so I guess I'm old enough to start this new project!

In my previous message, I wrote about our *free* 1-year, 6-course training program "Social Ministry of the Church" that's in English and Russian to train people how to care for the disabled. The purpose of these courses is to prepare people for "Building the ARC" - an Agape Restoration Community Christian housing co-op with a built-in community room / chapel. Most of the units will be wheelchair-accessible because of the aging of the "Baby Boomer" generation: 76 million people born between 1946 and 1965 have reached or are reaching retirement age (10,000/day = 3,650,000/year!), at which time 45% of these people are already disabled.

And as they continue aging, 70% of them will become disabled and require accessible housing or nursing home care before they pass on. This is a huge social concern: 70% of 3,650,000 people = 2,550,000 disabled people per year for the next 20 years = over 50 million people! Medicare will be insolvent by 2026 and Social Security will reach insolvency by 2034, the trustees of these funds report, so they won't be able to care for all these people at present levels. Our basic problem, however, is that like most people, we don't want to think about such things... until it's too late. Then, when we're too old and too feeble to pack up and move, our family may well be too far away or just too busy with their own jobs and family issues.

Christ commanded His disciples to "Bring in the poor, the maimed, the lame and the blind, go into the highways and the hedges, and compel them to come in, so that My house may be full" (Luke 14:21-23). This defines our ultimate target audience and our goal, but how can we "compel them to come in" unless they can come in? Why aren't the churches full? In many cases the "maimed, the lame and blind" can hardly get out of their homes, and getting transported to church is difficult or flat-out impossible.... [read more...]
