I'm a retired software consultant, missionary and seminary professor. My wife and I served in Russia for 17 years. I wrote the software for these courses, and my wife, who's an RN and rehab consultant, and I wrote the course content. It's in English and Russian on our website, and has also been translated into Chinese and Portuguese: the objective is "to equip the saints to minister to build up the Body of Christ" (Ephesians 4:12).
After coming back to the U.S. in 2007, we continued teaching our courses online, we've volunteered at FOCUS+Pittsburgh, and have ministered to the sick and elderly in hospitals and nursing homes. By "serving one another in love" (Galatians 5:13) - helping each other cope with what life throws at us, we can turn around the seemingly inevitable downward slide of old age... and actually build up the Body of Christ, the Church! Our "Social Ministry of the Church" courses train those healthier among us as "home healthcare workers" to care for those who need it. The goal: Building the ARC.
